I recently received an original set of MRI brainscans as a housewarming gift from my brother and just had to share this snapshot with my fellow denizens of the dark and sinister for use in your creepy collages and macabre crafts.
There are eleven x-ray style films in the set, each measuring about 14" x 18". I'd love to incorporate the originals into collages, but without a light source shining from behind, they simply look like sheets of black plastic. (I managed to snag this image by holding one of the sheets up to a window and waiting for the light to hit just right.) I've been ruminating on what to do with the collection for weeks, but aside from pasting them to my windows like a crazy Dr. Frankenstein, I'm at a loss.
