Puzzled

A few pieces from a puzzle swap with collage artists in England. The logistics of swapping out the puzzle pieces was handled by the swap host, with several mailings back and forth, but in the end, each person received a six-piece, over-sized puzzle completed in the theme of their choice, with each piece completed by a different collage artist. Above, a few of the giant jigsaw pieces I sent off. Each measured approximately 4-inches wide, crafted of heavy chipboard.

Below, one of the pieces I received in return ... I chose birds for my theme, and the finished pieces are just stunning. This was the only one that would fit in my scanner. All the rest include thick dimensional embellishments like little faux nests and shiny baubles.
